Ask me how I…

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate on experiences across multiple platforms including Native App, Web, HMI, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto

I worked alongside a team of designers to offer post-launch support on the app and car tools, redesign the HMI for EV charging, and eventually became the lead designer for growth on their website.

  • Craft clear, compelling stories that connect user needs, product enhancements, and business goals for stakeholders

I collaborated closely with research, marketers, and product partners to help stakeholders understand the value of user needs, how our solutions enhanced their products, and how our work could contribute to their business goals.

  • Advocate for increased product quality through workshops, iteration, and opening up communication

Our Electrify partners were marketing-focused so I worked closely with them to communicate how our team could continually deliver value with a user-centered roadmap. I unblocked communication with our dev counterparts (web, competing agency) to get us into refinement and demo calls.

Highlighted work

  • Locate a Charger Redesign

As the lead designer, I collaborated with product, research, and content design to explore how the Locate a Charger web experience could become more cohesive and impactful.

  • EV Route Planner

This concept was created to increase personalization capabilities, ease, and empowerment within the Electrify America App.

  • Business Solutions

The goal was to introduce all Electrify B2B business models in one location. Business customers needed to learn what Electrify offers and to whom, then be directed to the specific lead forms for each.

  • Map Pin Redesign

An initiative to solve accessibility issues, update visual communication patterns and make key adaptions to existing map interactions. We worked to ensure our system would meet emerging industry trends and standards.

“Zoe is so great to work with! From the first time I worked with her, I was blown away by her ability. But after consistently collaborating with her, I’m more impressed by her initiative. She’s quick to understand and is not afraid to ask questions or tell the team “I don’t know”. That kind of humility and work ethic makes her a valuable asset on any team, but it’s especially apparent on the EA project.”

Mickayla Ratliff - Senior Content Designer

“Zoe has been such a wonderful design partner on EA. I really loved our collaboration sessions and have been excited to see her thirst for knowledge. Her skills are beyond what I'd expect to see from a designer at her level and love how she's been able to take on new technical design challenges. EA can be complex and vague at times but Zoe has always risen to the challenge and exceeded expectations for any particular problem. Beyond that she's also an amazing presenter, she speaks clearly and seems to retain the entire history of some features. She's my go-to person when I start any new feature or set of work!.”
