Ask me how I…

Led strategy, UX, and visual design for a gig work website that increased potential users' likelihood to read through job postings by 24%, but also improved perceived efficiency by 17% and trustworthiness by 11%.

Key responsibilities

  • Embrace uncertainty, break down complex problems, and bring a structured approach to guide the design process

I applied frameworks like story mapping and value vs. effort to introduce design and research priorities. This helped guide the team through ambiguity and combat uncertainty about what to work on.

  • Actively engage stakeholders, developers, and researchers in the design process to gain insights, share ideas, and gain a deeperunderstanding of user needs

Using visuals in varying levels of fidelity I sought feedback early and often. This helped our team collect new information and react to changing circumstances.

  • Create high-quality experience and interface solutions around shifting priorities and tight deadlines

I worked closely with product and development partners by running road-tripping sessions to reduce rework and back and forth. Our collaboration led to solutions that were mindful of the user and the timeline.

Highlighted work

  • Ai Community

A microsite that introduces the AI community’s benefits, exposes opportunities, and clarifies the next steps

  • My Performance

Harness the power of the different feedback structures each program has built to create intentional building blocks our teams can use to customize a more pleasing and streamlined experience for contributors.

  • Sourcing 2.0

To stop using third-party software (Headway), we needed to provide contributors and admins with the ability to complete specific functions that met client requirements and user needs.

  • Support Center Research

Our goal was to help TI AI understand and make decisions on which features to invest in for a support center. For each feature, help them understand and make decisions on what would be most beneficial to contributors.

“I want to praise Zoe for her outstanding work in the TIAI project throughout the entire year. Since the beginning of 2024, I've had the privilege of working alongside Zoe, first as a design colleague and more recently as her beginner manager. During this time, I've had multiple opportunities to witness Zoe's exceptional commitment to the project, always going beyond expectations to deliver excellent design work.

Recently, Zoe took charge of a very challenging section of the platform, called My Performance. She embraced the challenge and demonstrated strong ownership, managing direct conversations with external and internal stakeholders, which was crucial in obtaining the key requirements that guided this deliverable. This is particularly important to highlight since she was working with limited definitions and many uncertainties, but even in this scenario she managed to achieve great UX and UI results. Her work is now helping not only the design team but the project as a whole to establish how the feature should progress in the next year.”

Guilherme Ribeiro · Associate Design Director

“Zoe demonstrated exceptional skill and professionalism while working under a tight deadline to design and create a board for our stakeholder share-out on admin and contributor journeys for Talent Studio and Control Center. She played a key role in organizing our efforts and contributed valuable design expertise and content to the board. Zoe effectively provided constructive feedback on ideas, which ultimately enhanced the quality of our deliverable. Additionally, she adeptly addressed stakeholder questions (not just about design but also about research) during the meeting, showcasing her knowledge and communication skills and going above and beyond.”
